The Electrical Designer supports the Project Execution team by
evaluating project specifications and liaise with Electrical
Engineers to create an electrical system design, especially
electrical hardware, to support project requirements and ensure
safe installation.Responsibilities / Tasks
Design and develop electrical control systems, including control
panel hardware, PLCs, and HMIs.
Create and modify engineering drawings using CAD software.
Review project-specific P&IDs for accuracy and confirmation of
project instrumentation used.
Responsible for installation and technical support of PLC-based
hardware.
Support New Equipment and Service Sales efforts in terms of control
system hardware selection and pricing.
Liaise with electrical and automation components Suppliers and
Purchasing team.
Support Project Engineers and Service team with customer requests
related to electrical components and electrical safety.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as
AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and NX.
Knowledge of common CAD concepts and ISA symbology.
Basic knowledge of PLC and HMI programming.
Basic knowledge of VFD operation and motor starters.
Advanced knowledge of electrical components and instrumentation
used for industrial automation purposes.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to people without
a technical background.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task on a
regular basis.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
