Job Description:
Job Summary
As a Supply Chain Clerk at Medline, you will be responsible for
performing material handling duties, including operating equipment
for product receiving, disbursement, inventory checks, and other
basic inventory management functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Major Responsibilities:
- Process daily item orders and conduct daily stock checks, as
well as customer pickups as needed.
- Ensure inventory items are counted, rotated, and replenished
daily, and all procedures are followed.
- Stock and inventory product on carts or within assigned areas
and manage par levels. Check for compromised products and expired
inventory.
- Receive inbound materials and mark them with identifying
information; record the amount of material received; sort materials
and stock on racks, shelves, or bins in accordance with a
predetermined sequence such as size, color, type, or product code.
Arrange materials for order assembly.
- Quality control, moving carts to and from loading docks, and
operation of material handling equipment as needed.
- Provide assistance with customer requests while maintaining a
high level of customer service.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including all forms of onsite
cleanup.Requirements:
- 1 to 3 months of related work or training.Additional
Requirements:
- Must be able to read and communicate in English.
- Must have basic math skills (addition/subtraction) and strong
interpersonal/relationship building skills.
- Must have a high sense of urgency and be able to meet the
physical requirements of the position.Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diplomaWork Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience working in a hospital
