Dialysis for a travel nursing job in Dodgeville, Wisconsin.Job
Description & Requirements
Title - RN Dialysis
Location - Dodgeville, WI
Shift- 4x10
Supervisory
--- Eligible to serve as Team Leader or Nurse in Charge upon
completion of onboarding and training.
o Must have at least 9 months of RN experience.
o Must have a minimum of 3 months of chronic/acute Hemodialysis RN
experience.
Key Responsibilities:
--- Perform ongoing patient assessments before, during, and after
dialysis treatments.
--- Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and adjust
individualized care plans.
--- Educate patients and families on dialysis treatments, kidney
health, and lifestyle adjustments.
--- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient
responses.
--- Participate in emergency response protocols and assist in
critical care situations.
--- Support, mentor, and guide Patient Care Technicians, LPNs/LVNs,
and fellow RNs in daily operations.
--- Ensure proper collection, processing, and documentation of lab
specimens.
--- Promote patient awareness of transplant and treatment modality
options.
Requirements:
--- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
--- Active RN licensure in the state of practice.
--- Current BLS/CPR certification (or completion prior to
start).
--- Must meet applicable state nursing practice requirements.
