TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, 53121 Pay Information $2,470 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Nursing - RN Medical Center Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift (36 hours per week) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with tracheostomy care, ventilators, chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines. Job Description: - Work in a critical care ICU setting. - Manage patient types including gastrointestinal bleeding, cardiac issues such as atrial fibrillation, and sepsis. - Maintain patient ratios of RN 1:2-3, based on acuity levels, and CNA 1:6-12. - Collaborate with available unit support, including the charge nurse, phlebotomy, respiratory therapists, 24/7 hospitalists, and EICU. - Ensure effective telemetry monitoring with resources available at the nursing station. - Utilize EPIC charting system and handle equipment like Alaris and Pyxis. - Participate in floating to medical-surgical units or other ICUs as required. - Adhere to weekend scheduling rotations every other weekend and manage approved time off. - No holiday or on-call expectations required. - Wear any color of scrubs.
