Technician / Mechanic will include, but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical
tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing
procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM
Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
- Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors &
trailers
- Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
- Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes
being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction,
stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to
reach equipment.
To become part of the NFI team you:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
- Technical or advanced degree or 1-7 years of Class 8 diesel
experience
- Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and
maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM
Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
- Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including
good oral and written communication skills.
